To get you excited, here's a bit about Carlsberg. The company was founded in 1847, 25 years before the Danish Club commenced trading. Carlsberg has always been at the forefront of innovation for beer internationally. In 1883, the Carlsberg lab isolated the pure strains of lager yeast (Saccharomyces Carlsbergensis). The company then freely shared the discovery with other brewers to help enhance the quality of beer worldwide. Today Saccharomyces Carlsbergensis is the most widely used lager yeast in the world.

The company has breweries across 33 countries and is big on sustainability. Their ‘Together Towards Zero’ initiative aims to eliminate carbon footprint, conserve water, promote responsible drinking and nullify the possibility of accidents.

That is just a small snippet of how influential Carlsberg is in the world. They have also been a massive supporter of the Danish Club, so come in and join us for some food, great beer og hygge!
